In order to better support new and existing members of our community with finding the best resources to get started with using Kolibri, we are proud to introduce the Wizard, a simple tool designed to make your life easier when looking for guidance.

Over the course of the last few years, as Learning Equality has continued to expand our set of products and tools for use in low-resource offline settings, we have simultaneously engaged in conversations with partners, implementers, and the community about what is needed to effectively use our offerings. A key part of this is understanding which of the tools and supporting resources in our ecosystem are the right fit for your needs and, perhaps more essentially, how you find them.

As such, we have developed a wizard to guide you to the appropriate resources needed to take the next steps with using Kolibri or starting a Kolibri program, based on your unique needs.

How does it work?

The Wizard is accessible via a side button called “Getting Started with Kolibri”, located on our website home page. Once you have answered the questions in the self-guided questionnaire, you will be presented with links to the most relevant resources for the topic you selected. You will be able to go back through the questions again if you are looking for support in more than one area, and you will have the opportunity to receive a copy of the resource links in your inbox as well.

Getting started with the Wizard! Check out all the categories of resources it can advise upon.
Several categories on the Wizard are multi-select, meaning you can choose as many options as you’d like, and we’ll deliver personalized recommendations just for you.
Check out your tailored recommendations at the very end, and repeat the Wizard for new resources, if you’d like.

Who is the Wizard for?

  • Program administrators looking to learn more about planning a program with Kolibri
  • Technical implementers who are ready to install and set-up Kolibri on devices
  • Curriculum designers interested in learning about the Kolibri Content Library and using Kolibri Studio for curation
  • Content providers looking to learn how to deliver their learning materials offline in Kolibri
  • Teacher trainers interested in planning a Kolibri training session
  • Organizations or potential funders looking to connect about a possible collaboration
  • Volunteers interested in contributing to the Kolibri Product Ecosystem
  • Current adopters of Kolibri needing technical support

Whether you are getting newly acquainted with our products and tools, are looking to train educators on blended learning practices with Kolibri, just have a question to ask, or want to get in touch about a possible collaboration with us, the Kolibri Wizard will point you in the right direction.

We are excited to have you try it!

Join the conversation and let us know what you think!

We continue to look for ways to provide the Learning Equality community with supporting resources for getting started with our products and tools.
